We are searching for a suitable horse for an 11-year-old girl who has been riding for approximately 5 years. She is a capable, confident rider looking for a genuine all-rounder to continue developing her skills and enjoy a variety of disciplines.

✨ Interests include:
• Pony Club
• Dressage (main focus)
• Jumping
• General all-round activities

What we’re looking for:
🐴 Mare or gelding
🐴 Approximately 15hh
🐴 Sensible, kind temperament
🐴 Been there, done that type
🐴 Good to float, catch, rug, tie up and handle
🐴 Suitable for a young rider wanting to have fun while continuing to learn and progress

The horse will be agisted and cared for daily.

We would also love to hear from anyone who may have a horse they don’t wish to fully part with and would consider a long-term lease or shared arrangement with the right home.

8-Year-Old Chestnut Standardbred Gelding
Approx. 16.1hh

Pete retired from racing in early 2026 sound and injury free and has since been broken to saddle and started his new career.

Pete is established at walk and trot and has begun canter work, however he is still developing balance in this gait. He is a forward-moving horse with plenty of potential and would excel in a variety of disciplines with continued education.

He has a kind nature and loves affection. Pete is good to:
• Catch
• Tie up
• Wash
• Rug
• Float
• Farrier

He paddocks well alone or with other horses and is good around dogs.

Under saddle Pete is soft in the mouth, responsive, and willing. He has been ridden:
• Over bridges
• On trail rides through the bush
• Around and away from other horses
• Over small jumps

Pete has no buck, bolt, or rear.

Due to his forward nature, Pete is best suited to a confident rider who can continue his education and help him reach his full potential. He is not suitable for beginners.

Pete does have a scar on his left hind.
