Over the last couple of days as a team we had the opportunity to step away from the everyday….it was such a valuable time to connect with one another, share ideas, give and receive feedback, and take time to reflect on how we can continue to grow.
There was plenty of learning, some powerful conversations, and lots of laughter along the way.
And then there was the mouse trap challenge... which tested our communication, trust, problem-solving skills, and, at times, our ability not to completely lose the plot! 😂 Somehow, through a mix of courage, teamwork, and blind faith in our colleagues, we made it through with plenty of laughs and a few unforgettable moments.
A huge thank you to Annabelle Chauncy OAM and some special supporters for making it all possible, and to Wayne Pearce for his outstanding facilitation. Your guidance created the space for meaningful discussions, reflection, and genuine connection.
I’m leaving inspired, challenged, and excited to turn our reflections and learnings into action….continuing to grow, support one another, and create the best possible outcomes for the children, their families and communities in Uganda. School for Life Foundation
