Still reflecting on the magic of last week’s Gala Ball and feeling so grateful to be surrounded by our incredible team, it was such a special night.

The generosity in the room was honestly something else… a room full of people coming together to believe in the power of education, opportunity, and what School for Life is creating alongside communities in Uganda.

One of the most powerful moments of the evening was hearing Diana speak. In a room of hundreds, you could hear a pin drop as she shared her story, her courage, and her vision for the future. Watching her stand on that stage was a reminder of exactly why this work matters.

Diana is going to change the world. And the beautiful thing is….everyone in that room is now part of that story too. ❤️ .co

Yesterday, after a suit fitting generously donated by , we spent the afternoon shopping, cooking together, and sharing recipes and traditions from each other’s countries.

In the middle of all the Gala Ball preparations, it was really special for me to slow down and spend genuine quality time together with our incredible team from Uganda, students, and teachers. Around the kitchen, sharing stories, laughter, and meals, it reminded me why I love being part of this work so much.

These are the moments that remind me what School for Life is truly about….connection, community, and the relationships that sit at the heart of everything we do. Feeling very grateful for this time together before what promises to be a very special evening tomorrow night. 🩵🩵🩵

Seeing this photo reminded me of when I was in Uganda last year for the opening of the Katuuso boarding house. 🥰

And now, to see these beautiful Primary students settling in, laughing and learning. It honestly means so much. To hear how much they love it, and knowing they have a safe, nurturing place to sleep, learn and just be kids, is incredibly powerful. 🙌

This is the impact of your support. Ensuring our students have the space they need to thrive and learn 💙

The future is looking even brighter as the final designs for the Kibumbiro High School and Vocational Training Centre are nearing completion. 📚

This exciting new project is specifically built to deliver skills aligned with local employment, creating direct pathways for more than 800 students each year. 🙌

We are especially inspired by what this means for young women in the area, providing them with a local, accessible way to continue their education and dream bigger. 🥰

We can’t wait to see this new school filled with eager young learners. 💙

Here is the team on the land where the Kibumbiro High School and Vocational Training Centre is taking shape.

We are thrilled to share the incredible impact of our water project, which is now bringing hope and health to over 8,000 people across five villages. 💦

Through 19 kilometres of pipeline and 135 community tap points, we are finally reaching thousands of families who have never before had access to clean, safe running water. 🥰

We invite you to watch our video and see the real-world stories of transformation this clean water has brought to these families. 💙

This morning’s walk stopped me in my tracks.
Kangaroos quietly grazing, the light just breaking through ☀️and then this sign, sharing the story of Pemulwuy and the ancient pathways of the Darug people.

This path may feel new under our feet, but it carries thousands of years of footsteps, stories, and connection. People have walked, lived, worked, and travelled here long before us and in many ways, that hasn’t changed.
Standing there, I felt a deep sense of perspective.

So much of the world right now feels heavy…conflict, uncertainty, and pain in places far beyond our own. And yet here, in this quiet moment, surrounded by nature and history, there was also a sense of grounding… of continuity… of something bigger than all of us.

It reminded me how fortunate we are to live on this land, to experience its beauty, and to walk, however briefly in the footsteps of those who came before.

A moment to pause, to reflect, and to feel both the weight of the world… and the privilege of this place.

Have a beautiful Thursday ☀️🌸💕

Last week was International Women’s Day, a moment to reflect on the power and potential of women and girls everywhere.

At , we see every day how education can transform a girl’s future, and the future of her whole community.

Take Jane, who grew up in rural Uganda where many girls are expected to marry young. Today she’s studying Electrical Engineering and, in a class of 42 students, she is the only woman….and first in her class. 🙌

Her journey is a powerful reminder that when girls are given the chance to learn and pursue their dreams, incredible things happen.

As a mum to two beautiful girls, this message feels deeply personal. Every girl, no matter where she is born, deserves the opportunity to learn, grow in confidence and shape her own future. 💛🩵

Proud to be part of a community working to make that possible.

What a great day!!!

As we stepped off the ferry in the rain and mist at cockatoo Island ,we met an lovely gentleman who began sharing stories and bits of history, telling us what to keep an eye out for when we entered the show. In between stories, we spoke about our work at and the impact we are having in Uganda. He smiled and told us about a blue Ute inside that had been restored by a friend of his 19 year old daughter, incredible this is similar to a Ute built in Uganda called “The Ox” a beautiful reminder of how connected our worlds really are.

We were so warmly welcomed by Valentin thank you so much for having us there, grateful for the opportunity. We also met some wonderful people throughout the day.

What a treat to be part of such an event, the kind of day that reminds you how powerful connection and community can be. and I are now Car enthusiasts and members of a wine club 🥂🚘

Today is Random Acts of Kindness Day 💛

And the older I get, the more I realise kindness isn’t random at all. It’s intentional. It’s brave. And it changes lives.

In my world…. as a mum, as someone who has built a career on relationships, I see every day what happens when kindness becomes action.

Today, I’m grateful to work in a space where kindness scales and where learning changes lives
