I see this quite often and it's a result of the repairer not knowing how to fix a leak properly. If you have a leak in your bathroom, it's usually the sewer vent pipe.

It is very common that a roof is laid under-pitched, meaning the sarking is working overtime to protect the roof from ingress. Over the years this causes the sarking to deteriorate to the point it either turns to dust or is extremely brittle. Unfortunately, the only solution to an under-pitched roof is installing something more appropriate to the existing structure like Colorbond (or paying to alter the structure). Have a look at your own roof and see if you think it looks a bit flat, this roof should have been laid at 22⁰.

Defects galore 🚨

Our client called us to do a defect report on their brand new roof. Suffice to say, it was not good up there. If you are building a home don't risk a leaking roof when you move in. DM us for more information.
