It's now two years since we sold 210 Krondorf road, home of Kabminye cellar door and Krondorf Road Cafe, and started renovations on our house at 179 Krondorf rd to house the Kabminye cellar door in the side verandah. We are thrilled to hear the new owners are ecstatic to be living in the building. We are open for business, mostly by appointment as well as most Saturday's, and our heritage house renovation is still a work in progress.

Yesterday I saw a diamond fire tail finch in the bird bath back at the house: the first one ever. I only ever saw one pair on one occasion up the road. One of our favourite customers has done a phd on the behaviour of diamond fire tail finches and is now looking for a job. Anyone looking for someone with that precise qualification? She's not getting excited at her prospects.

Today is our tenth birthday. Ten years since Richard finished building this beautiful building and we opened the doors, unsure of what to expect next. Well, it has been an exhilarating ride, but we have sold and will close the doors at end of trading next Sunday 28th and will reopen just down the road some time later. Thank you to everyone who has helped us on our way.

"You really need to get rid of that tree" said Clarry. "It's robbing the young fruit trees". So he rolled up with his chain saw and cut it down yesterday. Clarry Is a committed and skilled gardener. He's also 82.

We have sold! We are now working towards moving the cellar door back to our house on Krondorf road as soon as possible after settlement on May 15th. Exciting times.
