"Although the market has slowed, we are still listing and selling properties and have not seen the decrease in prices. The main thing we have noticed is that instead of being inundated with inquiry on properties listed, we are back to a few genuine buyers who are still making good offers. When there are fewer buyers to compete with it is generally a good time to buy as you have less competition.

As an investor, if you find the right property that suits your requirements, it is always a good time to buy. Buying property should be a long term investment and over time, even though prices may dip on occasions, the growth line is always steadily increasing.

Another reason not to wait is with increasing interest rates, your borrowing capacity may decrease preventing you from borrowing as much money as you may be able to now".
