Sydney homeowners… this is what I’m seeing right now.
Over the past week, I personally reviewed dozens of Sydney homes that have:
• sat on the market for 4 months–2 years
• struggled to attract strong offers
• or quietly withdrawn from sale altogether
And honestly?
It confirms something I’ve been warning homeowners about:
Buyers are no longer paying for “potential.”
In this market, uncertainty gets discounted.
Homes that feel:
❌ outdated
❌ unfinished
❌ overwhelming
❌ poorly prepared
…are sitting.
Meanwhile strategically prepared homes are still attracting stronger buyer confidence.
This is why I keep saying:
Preparation determines price.
And importantly:
I’m NOT talking about luxury renovations or overspending.
I’m talking about strategic preparation:
✔ what matters
✔ what buyers emotionally react to
✔ what creates confidence
✔ what strengthens negotiation position
Because in today’s Sydney market…
The gap between prepared and unprepared homes is widening fast.
