Today is both World Letter Writing Day and Wattle Day.
Wattle Day commemorates the first official day of Spring, and Australia's floral emblem.
World Letter Writting Day is to encourage people to turn off their screens and connect through hand writing letters.
It was established in 2014 after author, artist and photographer Richard Simpkin wrote letters to various Australian legends and received an overwhelming number of heartfelt handwritten replies.
Before you go and enjoy the wattle, or write someone a letter, make sure you like our post first!

Today is Daffodil Day and we have bunches of daffodils for sale, as well as raffle tickets.
Our fundraising raffle will be drawn at 12:30pm tomorrow, with the winner being contacted by phone.
We are open until 3pm today, and re-open at 9:15am tomorrow morning, so there's still time to get down here and buy some daffodils to brighten your weekend, and take your chances to win a prize!
