Goanna Dreaming Art Classes by Samantha Rose at The Palms Retreat

Heart fuelled, nature inspired Art classes for children ages 8-12 and 13-18

Registered Classroom and Art Teacher with 10 years experience teaching primary, secondary students and adults
Providing holistic learning of the Visual Arts in a unique Australian bushland setting
Focussing on coaching the inner artist to create confidently within a supportive group setting.
Goanna Dreaming Art encapsulates this focus of bringing ideas into reality and also reminds us of the beauty of the waking dream all around us.

Each class begins with intention setting around how we want to show up for ourselves and others during the class,
Warm up activities to activate creative flow, opportunities to explore & experiment with mediums & techniques, collaborative group artworks, teaching: demonstrations and guidance to acquire mastery of new techniques and time for sharing of artworks, learnings and reflections.
The bush setting will be utilised to inspire our art by bush walking, collecting natural found objects, sketching, taking photos and creating rich play experiences to activate our flow and fuel our passion for creating.

About Samantha
Samantha Rose is a registered teacher in Queensland. She has travelled the world teaching English as a Foreign Language and worked in International Schools in East Timor and Malaysia. She taught in public primary schools for many years in Melbourne, Australia.
Samantha enjoys sharing her love of the bush and creative daring! She holds a benevolent safe space for others to let their true selves shine and work as a team!
