This stunning 4km coastal trail winds along the shoreline through an ecologically rich environment of mangroves, tidal flats, seagrass beds and salt marsh wetlands β home to over 143 recorded bird species including migratory shorebirds and threatened species. π¦π
At low tide, the sandbanks come alive as birds gather to feed, while high tide creates peaceful roosting areas perfect for birdwatching and photography. Keep an eye out for pelicans, sea eagles, kingfishers, lorikeets and so much more.
