Earlier this month we had an enthusiastic group of women from the Habitat for Humanity Habitat Women program touring some of our Tomago businesses to gain an understanding of the workings of manufacturing facilities.

The program empowers women with a positive learning experience which builds their confidence and skills in a way that leads to employment in maintenance and repairs in the building and construction industry.

The group toured CIA Precast & Steel, Hunter Galvanizing and Advanciv; it was great to see their curiosity about the processes they were witnessing in each different business with lots of great questions firing throughout the morning.

We recently welcomed Transgrid and Energy Co for a morning of site visits across ArmorGalv, Hunter Galvanizing and CIA Precast & Steel.

It was great to showcase what Australian manufacturing can deliver for major transmission infrastructure.

Great to see the John Holland Belmont Desalination Plant project progressing nicely.

We continue to supply both precast concrete panels and structural steel to the project which will strengthen water security for the region.

A fun morning in Head Office this morning raising awareness and funds for Parkinson's research through the Shake It Up Australia Foundation for Parkinson's Research Pancakes for Parkinson's Campaign.

Many pancakes were cooked and eaten with a couple of fun games played and prizes won. Well done Rohan for an almost spot on guess of our 10L esky lolly guessing comp!

We're nearing completion at our Jesmond project with concrete beginning to be installed around the external perimeter of the industrial unit block, and the internal works well and truly coming together.

Looking forward to handing this one over to our client in the near future, keep an eye out for the finished build!

We were back at Ronald McDonald House Newcastle cooking breakfast for the families last week. It was once again a humbling experience for all involved.

The staff and volunteers at the house ensure a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for the families as they go through a difficult time. We're proud to be able to contribute through our participation in the Big Brekkie program throughout the year. Looking forward to the next one!

Located within close proximity of the existing Tomago industrial estate hubs is the exciting new Tomago Bowling Club Redevelopment. The redevelopment includes a new Tomago bowling club facility, adjacent light industrial building, generous parking space and a rear large scale workshop and office facility.

The phased redevelopment will result in brand new modern facilities for the Tomago bowling club members including new function space, upgraded kitchen facilities, take away coffee outlet and bottle shop premises.
