✨ Kitchen Design in Progress ✨

We’re still deep in the process of finalising the kitchen design for our dream home, and let me tell you, the ideas are flowing! Over the next few months, this space will transform into a digital moodboard filled with inspiration, concepts, and everything we love about kitchens, interior design and exterior landscaping.

To kick things off, here’s a special throwback to our very own kitchen in the home we just sold. This space held so many wonderful memories, and while it’s bittersweet to say goodbye, it’s also exciting to dream about what’s next.

✨✨Welcome to Our Dream Home Journey!✨✨

Hi, I’m Elle! Born and raised in the Netherlands, I moved to sunny Australia in 2015. Fast forward a few years, and life here is bustling. My husband and I run a thriving building and construction company .renovations in Toowoomba, Queensland, while raising our two beautiful little girls. Oh, and as if that weren’t enough, I’m currently into the middle of my diploma of interior design!

Now for the most exciting part—we’ve taken on a big, beautiful project: building our dream home from the ground up on a spacious block of land. This isn’t just a build; it’s a journey of passion, creativity, and a touch of chaos as we balance family life, business, and design dreams.

1️⃣Week One: The Adventure Begins
This week was all about setting the foundation—literally and figuratively. Over the past few weeks, we’ve been working closely with our draftsman to bring our vision to life. Now, we’re fine-tuning the design to ensure every corner of our home reflects light, space, and functionality for our family of four.

On-site, progress is tangible. We’re preparing a cozy tiny home to live in during construction—it’s all hands on deck! Our electrician has been busy setting up a temporary meter box for power, and the smart water meter will be installed soon. They may seem like small steps, but they’re milestones on the path to our dream.
