There’s plenty of new followers on this page so let me reintroduce myself to you.
I’m a born and bred Far North QLDer which basically makes me a different species of human.
I’ve lived in Toowoomba for 29 years since Lachlan and I got married. He owned a house, I owned a car and a stereo so Toowoomba won.
In 2006 he came home one day and said - “let’s buy a real estate agency” I said, I don’t know anything about real estate. He said it’s customer service - you know that and the rest you can learn.
And so we did, juggling raising our 2 sons and building a business we then merged into McAdam & Turnbull Realty in 2012.
Along the way I did what you do when you have school aged children, I was chairman of the P&C at Rangeville School, secretary of Southern District Cricket Club and volunteered at Eisteddfod (which I still love to do). Joining Toastmasters has been great fun also.
Throughout it’s been a determination to ensure landlords know there is someone on their side and they can have stress free proactive property management. Tenants can rent with us knowing we’d do our best to look after them and ensure they are treated fairly and appreciated.
My involvement with the Real Estate Institute of Qld really fired my passion of making sure our industry is the best we can be but most importantly that as property managers we must value ourselves and our contribution to providing housing solutions.
I’ve got a reputation for direct, honest, no fluff advice that gets straight to the point of what needs to be done.
Fast forward to now, Lachlan and I are proud to be members of The Agency Toowoomba team. Lachlan is a Sales Partner.
My role as New Business Partner lets me dedicate my time to introducing new landlords to our Agency to ensure they get the best possible customer service.
