Banjo's is looking better than ever! We recently made a few improvements to ensure maximum comfort for our guests. We have upgraded the Coffee Station by replacing the Kettle and Toaster with luxe models, and styled the unit with new soft furnishings and wall art. We hope everyone enjoyed a nice break over the Easter weekend. We spent some quality time at Banjo’s and managed to complete a few little projects, including the addition of this display unit in the master bedroom.

Banjo's Urban Chic Retreat will soon be listed on Airbnb!

With this in mind, we travelled to Toowoomba on the weekend and gave the unit a Mini Makeover, which included the addition of a comfy spot for Mum to relax and read her Kindle in the bedroom, while Dad entertains the kids in the living room ;-)

Thank goodness for Banjo's!

Earlier this month, our son's pup was hit by a visiting ute on our farm. Our local vets urged me to get him to emergency care in Toowoomba as soon as possible. When we finally left the surgery that night, I was absolutely knackered, but we had left Chinchilla with nothing, so I needed to go shopping. We went to Grand Central and bought some clothes to sleep in (Big W) and a few groceries (Woolworths). When we got back to the car, I experienced an overwhelming sense of relief, knowing we had somewhere to stay. When we arrived at Banjo's, I was grateful for the electronic lock, as I hadn't bought the keys with me. When I pulled our fish and chips from the oven for dinner, I was grateful for the salt on the shelf above. When we finished showering, I was grateful for the washer dryer that cleaned and dried our clothes for the following day. When I went to bed, I was grateful for the phone charger in the bedside table, and when I woke in the morning, I was eternally grateful for the espresso machine! I was so thankful for all the 'little things' I'd purchased and put in the unit to ensure our guests have a comfortable stay. Everything we needed was already there and it was such a huge relief. Family and friends, please remember, if you ever need a place to stay in Toowoomba, you are always welcome at Banjo's.

We have some exciting news to share! Last week the entrance to Banjo’s Urban Chic Retreat got a little makeover. The scrappy garden beds lining the driveway were removed by a local landscaper. Removing these garden beds has improved the overall look and feel and enabled us to install a car stop for visitor car parking directly below the unit.
