“I made an offer”… but did you? 👀

One of the biggest points of confusion we see from buyers is not actually understanding what an offer looks like in Queensland.

Many people think they’ve simply “made an offer” when in reality they’ve already signed the contract. The buyer-signed contract is the offer. Once the seller signs and communicates acceptance, you may have a binding contract on foot.

Occasionally, some agents use an informal document for you to relay your offer which records the terms being discussed and importantly, it is not legally binding.

The difference matters.

Before signing anything, make sure you contact your solicitor (surely Jet Legal | Queensland Property Law Firm) to make sure you understand:

📌 What conditions are included
📌 What happens if the seller accepts
