MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT MT BOHLE OVERNIGHT MONDAY INTO TUESDAY

Rainfall is forecast to continue across the Bohle River catchment for the remainder of Monday, with areas of moderate to heavy rainfall possible over the next few days. This may result in renewed river level rises and minor flooding along the Bohle River at Mt Bohle overnight Monday into Tuesday.

A Flood Watch is current for parts of North-Western Queensland and North Tropical Coast.

Minor flooding may occur along the Bohle River.

The Bohle River at Mt Bohle is currently at 0.90 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Bohle River at Mt Bohle may reach around the minor flood level (4.00 m) overnight Monday into Tuesday. Further rises are possible with forecast rainfall.

▪️ Don't drive, walk, swim or play in floodwater because it is dangerous.
▪️ Stay away from flooded drains, rivers, streams and waterways.
