Infrastructure Updates for Cosgrove Estate

As Townsville continues to grow, we're pleased to see further improvements underway that will benefit both current residents and the wider community.

Bayswater Road Upgrade
Works are progressing on the next stage of the Bayswater Road extension, a significant infrastructure project that will enhance connectivity and support the future growth of Cosgrove and surrounding areas.

Mount Louisa Walking Track Access
To ensure the popular Mount Louisa Walking Track remains accessible during construction, Townsville City Council is delivering more than 70 temporary car parks along Bayswater Road, approximately 300 metres from the Weston Street access point.

These temporary parking facilities will allow residents and visitors to continue enjoying one of Townsville's favourite outdoor destinations while important infrastructure works are completed.

We thank the community for their patience as these projects progress and look forward to seeing the long-term benefits they bring to the area.

With major road upgrades, new infrastructure, and continued growth throughout Precinct 6, it's an exciting time to be part of the Cosgrove community.
