SUPREME EXHIBIT @ ELITE!

The Elite Show & Sale has become the premier stud display event for Southdowns after joining the three other breeds only last year. Over 50 exhibits from 9 breeders from 3 states.
So it was a profound honour to take out the Supreme Southdown Exhibit award with 250018, who was the Res. Champ. at Aust. Sheep & Wool Show in July.
Thanks to judges, stewards and fellow exhibitors.

Elite Show & Sale 2026…
… is on this weekend at Bendigo Showgrounds. The Southdowns are well represented with 9 studs exhibiting their sheep before the judge @ 12 noon Saturday, followed by the stud stock sale @ 11am on Sunday.

Chandpara is offering:

250183. This ram has a TCP of 135 and PWT of 15.4. He has some beautiful lambs on the ground already this year.

Berwick Show was the first show we ever attended, back in 1988 - the same year the stud was registered.
It’s been great to re-engage with this event over the last few years.
The weekend saw us take out the Supreme Champion Stud Exhibit prize, Best Ewe of the Show, Best Ewe Lamb of the Show, Res Ram Lamb of the Show.
Thanks to Kane & Bridget and the team for organising another successful and enjoyable competition.

Plan for your 2026 lambs now!
It’s January, so it’s time for Winter/Spring lambers to assess their ram teams. Are they sound, fit to work and do you have enough? Exceeding the old 2% rule will generally result in a tighter lambing, and with lamb prices so buoyant it’s definitely worth investing in quality rams to maximise returns.
