If you're only going to one rally this year - this should be it. The Lazer Rally of the Bay (Saturday 2nd August) is a highlight of the NSW Rally calendar - awesome roads and fantastic atmosphere, against the gorgeous backdrop of Batemans Bay.

We’re pleased to welcome Gleeson to the 2025 Lazer Rally of the Bay organising team! 🙌

Jim will be taking on the critical role of Assistant Clerk of the Course, managing comms from Rally HQ and helping keep everything running safely and smoothly behind the scenes. 🧭🎧

You might not hear him unless you're on the official channel – but rest assured, he’ll be keeping the whole rally connected and covered. 💪

Here a surveyor is occupying (measuring) a galvanised iron pipe (GIP) reference mark with the GPS rover. A reference mark is a physical monument that references the location of a boundary corner on a registered plan of survey. At this corner, a line of rocks called a ‘lockspit’ extends along the boundary in each direction from the corner, where the surveyor found an old peg. An old timber fence post stands next to the peg and lockspit. The untrained eye would walk straight past this without realising its history or significance!
