Just over a year ago, I made the decision to step away from the familiar and launch NextLevel Property independently.

I was terrified, but I knew I had to back myself. I have always believed that life happens for you, not to you, and sometimes the opportunities that change your life begin with the scariest decisions.

Since taking that leap, every decision and every responsibility within the business has stopped with me. It has challenged me, strengthened me and shown me exactly what I am capable of.

Being recognised in these 3 categories is incredibly meaningful because they reflect so much of who I am, both professionally and personally. I believe in being brave enough to create change, connecting people in ways that open doors and forging a path that may encourage someone else to back themselves too.

Some exciting news to share… I've been named a finalist in the Celebrating Women's Awards, in the Brave in Business and Life category! 🎉

Just over a year ago I stepped out of my comfort zone and launched my own property investment business, NextLevel Property. It was frightening, but I've always believed that life happens for you, not to you, so I backed myself and did it anyway.

Being acknowledged for that leap means the world. A huge thank you to everyone who helped me launch and grow, I couldn't have done it without you.

I'm also a finalist for the Best Connector Award and Everyday Trailblazer award which I'm just as proud of.

People ask me what happens in a Kickstart Session. Honest answer: it's a real conversation.

No slideshow. No pitch. No list of properties I'm trying to sell.

We talk about where you are right now, what you're trying to achieve, and whether property is actually the right vehicle to get you there. Sometimes the answer is yes and we build from there. Sometimes it's not quite the right moment — and I'll tell you that too.

Most people come in with one question that's been circling. "Should I use equity or save a deposit?" "Is now actually a good time?" "New build or established?" "Which city makes sense for my budget?"

One of the biggest myths stopping people from getting started: you need a large deposit.

It stops so many people before they've even made a call. They look at the numbers, assume they need 20% down, work out what that looks like in today's market, and quietly give up.

Here's what I want you to understand.

The First Home Guarantee Scheme allows eligible buyers to purchase with 5% down and no Lender's Mortgage Insurance. That's a saving of up to $35,000 in upfront costs.

For investors who already own a home, usable equity can often replace the need for a cash deposit entirely — meaning you can buy without touching savings at all.

And in the markets where yield and growth fundamentals are genuinely strong, there are opportunities that still make solid investment sense without requiring a Sydney-sized deposit.

None of this means stretching beyond what's comfortable. It means not ruling yourself out of something that might actually be within reach.
