🤍 In Loving Memory of Our Little Safety Officer, Charlie 🤍

It is with very heavy hearts that we share the sad news that our much-loved Charlie has passed away.

Charlie had been with us from the very beginning and it’s hard to put into words just how much he meant to all of us. Over the years he enjoyed many adventures out in the trucks, keeping an eye on the team and making sure everyone was working hard. In his later years, he swapped the trucks for the office, keeping us company throughout the day and visiting our clients’ homes for on-site inspections.

Charlie had a little personality all of his own, and we’re sure many of you who have interacted with us over the years will remember his adorable beard, that cheeky smile that always seemed to be on his face and the joy he brought wherever he went. He was so much more than our little safety officer, he was family 🤍

His absence has left a huge hole in our days and we miss him more than words can say.

Although Charlie was getting on in years, he had a wonderful life filled with adventures, familiar faces, tasty treats, truck rides and plenty of love. We feel incredibly lucky to have had him by our side for so much of our journey and we’ll be forever grateful for the years of memories he gave us.

And if you happen to spot Charlie in the occasional photo we share in the future, know that he’s still bringing a smile to our faces, just as he always did. We have so many memories with him woven into our journey and we wouldn’t want to leave those moments behind.

Run free, Charlie. You’ll always be a part of the Advanced family and you’ll never be forgotten 🐾

Some pieces of furniture are just on another level - quite literally!

This massive bookcase from a recent move was so tall that even after lifting the top section off the base, it’s still taller than our team 😳

When it comes to big, heavy or awkward pieces, having the right number of hands makes all the difference. With our crew on the job, we were able to carefully dismantle, lift, manoeuvre and load this beast safely 💪🏼

It’s not always about having the biggest truck (which we do also have 😉), sometimes it’s about having a big enough team to get the job done properly.
