Market in the Hall We're holding indoor markets in the beautiful old St Patrick's Hall Ford Street Wangaratta North East Victoria.

We want to share this Grand Ol Dame of a venue with the community, so they can enjoy being a part of her story as much as we do.

Thank you to our stallholders and shoppers for coming along to our Market in the Hall yesterday, the weather certainly did not do us any favours(it was a stay home inside, kind of day)

Don't forget our Market in the Hall this Saturday the 30th, St. Patrick's Hall Ford st, Wang from 9a.m.-1p.m. Come and check out our fabulous vendors and the wares they've prepared for you. Market in the Hall wants to wish you all a Happy Mother's Day, whether you're a mum, mum in law, foster mum, step mum, grandma, great grandma, aunt, cousin, sister, sister in law, friend, mentor, care giver, (really, everyone who takes on a mum role in someone else's life!!) take a second out of your busy day to remember how important you are to someone else in this big old world and thank you for being you!!❤️❤️❤️

Market planning for how I can use these beauties when they ripen, in cakes, slices & biscuits on our cake stall, the lemon and orange trees are loving the rain today (as is the rest of the garden). No worries about the rain at our May 30th Indoor Market though. St. Patrick's Hall will keep you nice and dry while you check out our stalls, grab something from the Wang Woodchoppers BBQ, take a break and enjoy a free cuppa while you sit and chat to someone.

Time for a bake up to try new bikkie flavours for our Indoor Market on May 30th in St Pat's Hall. In honour of ANZAC Day on Saturday, I started with the basic ANZAC recipe & tweaked it. These were the date & walnut, double choc and cranberry, apple & almond. The square biscuits in the front belonged to the handsome devil in uniform, my poppa Tom Hodson. He gave me them when I first moved away from home (in case I never had food to eat!!! God love him.) & they've hung in every kitchen I've had since then. They are as hard as a steel post which is how they were when they got them in his ration pack. He referred to them as "bully beef biscuits" they would make a kind of gravy & put their tinned corned beef & biscuits in it or soak them in their cup of tea... The photo was taken in 1940 as he was getting ready to leave his wife & 1st born, the cutey he's holding, my mum she was born in 1939.
To everyone that has served or is still serving in Australia's Defence Forces, thankyou thankyou we appreciate your service so much.
