If you’re a fan of winter and all its delights, you’ll love living at Copelands. Mt Baw Baw is close enough for a day trip skiiing or boarding and Mt St Gwinear or Mt Erica are also great options for cross country skiing, tobogganing or a bit of snow play.

It’s no secret that things get a little chilly here in the foothills of the mountains but we don’t let that stop us from rugging up and exploring the region. Plus, Warragul has stacks of great cosy restaurants and pubs, fab venues like the West Gippsland Arts Centre and our local cinema.

Easter is a magical time for kids and for adults it is a chance to take a little break.

Whatever you’re up to, we hope you have a lovely time! Warragul has a lot of activities over the weekend. We’ll try and share some in our stories here, but a good place to start is the ‘upcoming events’ page on the Baw Baw Shire Council website.

We’ll be closed on the public holidays, but feel free to send an email or message and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Ps. If you’ve got some time, why not take a walk through Copelands and imagine what it would be like having all that green space at your front door. You’ll get a sense of what our friendly, established community is all about too.
