As of 2024, women in construction currently only make up 13% of the construction industry and of those only 2% are in trades.

The NSW Government has developed an active strategy that wants to see this increased to 15% by 2030.

The Walsh Group, together with its affiliation with NAWIC are proud to support this initiative that will continue to foster and encourage skilled female participation and retention throughout the whole supply chain for the built environment.

Our favourite Dukes of Hazards are Back! The lovable Rachel Saunders (General counsel for the Royal Agricultural Society) & her partner in crime, our dear friend, David Ghannoum (Managing Director for Multiplex) at it again in selfless support of the 2022 Annual Trek for the Royal flying Doctors Service (RFDS).

TWG has been supporting Car 50 since 2019 and we would like to send a big thank you to Rachel and David on their journey donating their blood, sweat and tears in order to assist the RFDS in continuing to provide its aero medical emergency services to country Australia.

The RFDS relies solely on funding to provide its wings over Country Australia and for anyone who would like to contribute please do so by way of reaching out to our friend Bill Patrick [email protected] organiser and Chief Excitement Officer (CEO) of the RFDS outback car rally.

The Walsh Group Construction were proud to have worked alongside Crown Lands in conjunction with The Parramatta Park NSW Trust authority for its client MISC.
MISC will breathe life into the iconic Western Sydney Parklands with its hospitality and prestigious venue offering.

With its many sensitive planning requirements, as well as high level heritage, environmental and archaeological compliance, TWG was able to successfully handover the project which required both Crown Lands and Council DA pathway processes to be achieved in parallel.

Special thank you to the MISC management team for their professionalism and our consultants and partners who were integral into this stage of delivery.
