Its been a while since I have posted. Winter has arrived and its been pretty darn chilly in the valley. So chilly that we had to get a second wood heater installed. The coldest that we have had so far is -5 degrees. We have also had heavy frost with drizzle which was turning everything including the driveway to ice.

The ewes are enjoying a new paddock with some green grass and a view of the valley.

Recently we welcomed to the farm, three registered toggenburg goats. All bred by Lavender Park Toggenburgs. Aria the mature doe has been shown very successfully in Tasmania. The two little ones, one of which is Aria's 2024 daughter are as yet unnamed.
