Whyalla has received the exciting news that the region will soon be home to one of Australia's largest solar plants. Adani Group has announced construction of its new plant will commence in 2017, with 350 jobs expected to be created during the construction phase. This is fantastic news for the area and we look forward to welcoming those associated with this project!

CONSTRUCTION on a $200 million Whyalla solar plant is scheduled to begin late next year after Indian energy giant Adani signed a deal to lease a parcel of land.
