How lucky are we in SA? 💙

This photo was taken just outside Kulpara and reminded me how fortunate we are to have a region like the Yorke Peninsula. 🩵

Rolling green paddocks, beautiful beaches, fresh sea air, incredible local produce, great bakeries, country pubs, quality coffee and some of the friendliest communities you’ll find anywhere.

We really do have the best of both worlds, country and coast.

And while I’m giving shout-outs, can we take a moment to appreciate the people who help keep our towns looking their best? The public facilities at Kulpara are always spotless. A huge thank you to the cleaners and council staff who do such a wonderful job. It doesn’t go unnoticed.

Sometimes we get so used to these views that we forget just how special they are.

Confession time… I had breakfast at Toogood Bakery yesterday.

🥑 First avocado harvest test of the season!

We’ve been watching these Hass avocados closely and today seemed like the right day to pick our first fruit and see if they’re ready.

One of the joys of growing your own food is learning patience. Avocados don’t ripen on the tree, so now the waiting game begins while this beauty sits on the kitchen bench.

Fingers crossed for creamy green goodness in a week or two!
