A very proud moment for the Winchelsea Community Bank Village ๐
Last week we had the honour of welcoming Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, Governor of Victoria, to Winchelsea, where the Winanglo Community Bank Village was proudly showcased as part of her visit to the Surf Coast Shire.
This project is something truly special. Designed by locals for locals, the Village provides quality, accessible housing that allows ageing farmers and long time residents to remain connected to the community they know and love.
To see the Village recognised at this level highlights the importance of creating housing that supports people to stay local, stay independent and stay connected.
Importantly, there are still a small number of units available.
