Another away job. Another tough refurb. Another pretty unreal office for the week 🍻☀️

The Jubilee Tavern in Airlie Beach is getting a fresh new look, delivered in collaboration with our long-term partners at Australian Venue Co.

The challenge?
Keep the venue trading while delivering a full refurbishment. And because we like to keep things interesting… we pulled off our standard 3-day gaming room shutdown and transformed it into a fully refurbished space ready to reopen fast 🎰⚡

Good planning. Good tradesmen. Good clients. That’s how projects like this get done.

Cairns… we’ve arrived 🍻

And no, we didn’t come for a holiday.

Behind that fencing is a full strip-out in progress… and what used to be an arcade-inspired hotel is getting a proper glow-up into a busy Irish pub.

Blank canvas. Big plans. Zero chill.

Last Thursday afternoon we swapped the tools for bowls and took some time out for our annual Core4 barefoot bowls afternoon.

It’s a chance for the team to step away from site, catch up, and (try to) show off some bowling skills. Some took it seriously…. others not so much. Either way there were plenty of laughs and good competition all round.

More importantly. it’s time spent building the relationships that carry through into how we work together every day. Strong teams don’t just happen on site - they’re built off it too.
