Dennis Smith Surveys has always supported the development and knowledge growth of staff. Super proud that team member Charlie was nominated for the prestigious NSW Excellence in Surveying and Spatial Information (ESSI) – the Grant Killpatrick Vocational Student of the Year award, after 2 years of solid studies & on the job mentoring from senior staff.
We glammed up last Saturday night (got out of the hi-vis). The award ceremony in Sydney was MC’d by comedian Dave Hughes. We are thrilled that Charlie was named the WINNER. She is very deserving of the Award and on the night gave a great speech wowing all in attendance. Well done Charlie!

We are saddened to announce the passing of our founder Dennis Smith. For those who knew Dennis, they know he was the driving force behind Dennis Smith Surveys and did so with a community minded and friendly attitude. He will be sorely missed by his family, friends, peers and clients that have connected with him over 50 years in this business.

Dear our valued clients

In accordance with the NSW Health Orders, and based on our industry body (Association of Consulting Surveyors NSW) recommendations, we will not be attending sites to conduct survey work for at least the next fortnight. The closure of construction sites in Greater Sydney and restriction on undertaking non-urgent visits to residences is intended to reduce the number of people moving about the city and DSSurveys will be looking to do our part to limit the spread of COVID-19.

Any existing drafting / calculations that we can do for your job on existing work we shall endeavour to prioritise during this lockdown period.

Today was our final day for 2020. We will be back in the office on the 11th of January and back to serving our community.

Update 25 March 2020. Dennis Smith Surveys remains open for business. Obviously we take advise from the Government and health professionals as it is provided. Likewise the Association of Consulting Surveyors have been advising of best practices.
We are working flexible and reduced hours to, among other things, enable our staff to maximise social distancing.
Our office will not always be attended between 9 - 5 , Mon - Fri. So please leave a message if you can’t speak to one of us. Alternatively email [email protected].
We thank existing clients for their understanding and ensure new clients their needs will be well looked after by a family business that has been operating for 50 years.
