Property markets adapt 🏡

That’s probably one of the biggest things I’ve observed over the years working in real estate.

Markets shift. Interest rates change. Policies evolve. Headlines create panic. But people still buy and sell property every single day for reasons that go far beyond tax benefits alone.

Yes, the recent Budget announcements may influence how some investors approach the market moving forward.

But I also think many people underestimate how adaptable buyers, sellers and investors really are.

Some investors will pivot strategy. Some may buy newer stock. Others may explore different purchasing structures altogether.

And outside of investors, there’s still a huge portion of the market driven by lifestyle and emotion:
• families upsizing
• downsizers simplifying
• buyers chasing a coastal lifestyle
• people wanting a home they genuinely enjoy living in

Property has consistently shown resilience through changing economic cycles, and it’ll be interesting to see how this next chapter unfolds.
