It already feels like home 🌿

The Parklands Neighbourhood Park officially opened last month and what a success it was!

Kids ran straight to the playground, kites filled the sky, and the space quickly became what it was always meant to be: used, enjoyed and lived in.

With around 200 people attending, the day was full of face painting, an animal farm, a bubble performer, BBQ, coffee, and plenty of moments that brought the community together.

And the best part?
The feedback said it all:
“This feels like home.”
“Our kids love the park - we’re here every day.”

At Parklands, community isn’t coming soon.

Tomorrow we pause to honour the courage, sacrifice and enduring legacy of the ANZACs.

In Wonthaggi, the community will gather at the Cenotaph on McBride Avenue for the Dawn Service from 5:55am, followed by the ANZAC Day march and commemoration service later in the morning.

From first light through to the 10am service, it’s a day that brings the community together in quiet reflection and shared respect.

As a mark of respect, the Parklands sales office will be closed.
