Matt Spooner x Damien Cooley Monthly Market Wrap.

Spring selling season is here, and the market is already showing its hand.

This month, Matt Spooner and Damien Cooley talk through a Redfern auction that sold $30k over reserve, a wave of buyer inquiry building behind lack of quality stock, and why well-presented homes are being snapped up in the first two weeks. For owners weighing an early offer against a full campaign, and buyers wondering just how rare their dream home really is, there’s a lot to take in this month.

Not a Spring to sit back and watch, a season to move with intent.

Yesterday, the Buyers Market team came together to kick off FY27.

We spent the day aligning on our vision, refining the standards that define us, and sharing the systems, technology and innovations that will shape the next chapter of our business.
Days like these are an investment in our people, because exceptional client outcomes begin with an exceptional team.

We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built, even more excited about where we’re headed, and grateful to have a team that’s committed to raising the bar every single day.

May Market Wrap with Matt Spooner x Damien
Cooley

Buyer inquiry remains strong, but softer clearance rates, tougher negotiations and a lack of quality stock continues to shape the Sydney market. More deals are happening post-auction as buyers and sellers adjust to changing conditions.
