We’re excited to share that Town Planning Alliance has successfully secured Council approval for the Numinbah Escape nature-based tourism development in the beautiful Numinbah Valley.

The approved project will deliver a unique eco-tourism destination featuring:
- A 1km long zip line experience
- Mountain biking, abseiling and bushwalking trails
- On-site café facilities
- Camping grounds and glamping tents integrated within the natural landscape

A key focus throughout the planning and design process was ensuring the development responded sensitively to the environmental values of the site, which is located within a koala priority and core habitat area and native vegetation. The proposal was strategically designed to retain existing vegetation, with much of the infrastructure being repurposed and adapted for the development rather than extensive new disturbance occurring across the site.

This approval represents an exciting outcome for sustainable tourism in the region and highlights how environmentally responsive development can coexist with unique visitor experiences.

We’re also proud to see the project recognised through both State and Local tourism grant funding support.

A great outcome for the client, the tourism industry, and the future of nature-based experiences in the Gold Coast Hinterland region.
