We’re pleased to announce the recent approval of a new workers accommodation development at Bottlebrush Avenue, Noosa.

The approved development will deliver 16 purpose-built accommodation units designed to help address the growing demand for affordable housing for hospitality and essential workers in the Noosa region, within walking distance of Noosa Junction.

A key aspect of the application was successfully establishing a merit-based case for a higher plot ratio, despite the development not strictly aligning with the planning scheme’s definition of ‘small dwellings’.

The assessment recognised the broader planning merits of the proposal, particularly its affordable nature, purpose built design and clear intent to provide housing for the same intended residents that the planning framework seeks to accommodate.
