For some people it can be easy. For most of us, it is a constantly changing minefield of terminology and technology. Keeping up with firmware updates, navigating menu, connecting scopes and monoculars to iPads, tablets and smartphones, entering and using ballistics calculators and algorithms, and knowing which product is right for your needs isn't always straightforward.

We love travelling this country and regularly take calls, chat with people at campsites and get approached in the street after they've spotted our truck and business name. We help people understand their existing equipment, get it updated and connected, learn how to use it properly, and make informed decisions when purchasing something new. If needed, we'll even head out to your property to help get everything set up.

𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐞 𝐝𝐨 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐄.
Why? We can not only supply the latest in night vision and thermal equipment at prices many cannot beat, but mainly because we believe people shouldn't waste their hard-earned money or be left scratching their heads with expensive equipment they can't use properly.

🐑 𝐀 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐲.
We helped a long-time sheep shearer with his existing HIKMICRO Falcon FQ35 monocular, which hadn't been updated since he purchased it several years ago. He was also having trouble connecting it to his tablet. We updated the unit, walked him through the new menus, connected his tablet and showed him how to maintain the updates properly. No charge. No fuss. Just a bit of help.

Next thing we are also updating his Garmin GPS dog collars and base unit. 😂

Not long after, he arrives back at our campsite with a bunch of absolutely awesome lamb chops as a thank you! 🥩

That's the sort of thing that makes what we do worthwhile. It's about looking after people, sharing knowledge and making sure people get the most out of their equipment.

Mr and Mrs Random have done it again. 😂
This morning we leave Lake Tchum headed for Big Desert Wilderness Park via Sea Lake for some supplies. On stopping in said town and seeing a poster on the wall of the local info centre:

Me "Hey Coll what is the date today?"
Coll "14th I think"
Me "Really? There's a circus in town tonight at 7pm. Wanna go?"
Coll "Sure! Where is it?"
Me - Still reading the poster "Its at the local caravan park. Where is that?"
Coll "Ahhhh isn't it that one right in front of us?"
Me "Ohh yeh. So it is."
And so here we are for the night. Waiting for the circus to start at 7pm 🤣

Edit: WHAT an amazing performance.!! We had a complete hoot. The skills, strength, balance and athleticism is just jaw dropping. We are SO glad we stopped for the night.

A random stop for a few nights near Birchip Vic at a random spot not even on our radar until we drove past. 🌅

No hypertension medication needed here. 🩺💙
And colours straight off the camera. No AI or photo editing in sight 😊

We just never tire of the towns that have such beautiful memorials to all of us that have served and sacrificed past, current and to those younger generations that will give all to this great country of ours. ❤️🇦🇺

Gorgeous day for a short trail run and hike up to the top, take in the view and Spring smells and run back down again for a lunch with good friends in Marysville.
Waterfalls are always such special places to visit. 🙏🏼😊

What do you do when you arrive for a flight from one city to another in a foreign country to avoid a circuitous long train ride and the airline gets the destination airport wrong?
And… There are absolutely no seats on the correct plane and you have an international connection in 6 hours from the airport you actually wanted to go to?
Wellllll, you take a deep breath, take it all in your stride because after all this is now our life. Hop on the plane to the incorrect airport, jump on the 3 trains you were trying to avoid in the first place, end up in the correct airport in the correct queue and find the perfect sign that sums it all up.
And would you believe, it was then wh***ey tasting and w**e time? YEY
