Congratulations to FAC's own Emma Buswell for taking out this year's City of Joondalup Invitational Art Award (and making headlines nationally) with her instantly iconic work The Sometimes Luxury Handbag and other Suburban Fables.

Taking over 100 hours, the work uses tiny seed beads to recreate the cult classic Coles chicken bag, sometimes called the Bachelor's handbag or tradies briefcase, among other affectionate names.

Congratulations Emma! 👏💛👏
