The 2025 Yass Valley Business Awards Gala was a true celebration of our region—its people, its progress, and its spirit.

Proudly sponsored by Yass Premix Concrete and so many others, the event was held at the newly re-opened Shaw Estate restuarant, where 120 guests came together to honour the individuals and businesses that have been Making History and shaping the Yass Valley.

Guests enjoyed local wines, craft beer, signature cocktails, food by Shaw Estate, and artisan chocolates—set against elegant renovations and sparkling lights over the dam. Inside, historical images lined the walls—reminding us of where we’ve come from, and that we’re still writing the next chapter.

Throughout the night, we recognised those who form the backbone of the Yass Valley—many of them unsung, all of them deeply deserving. From emerging businesses to long-standing community organisations, the stories and reflections shared reminded us of the strength and resilience woven through our LGA.

Each sponsor, with warmth and pride, announced their award category winner by opening the box—a small but powerful moment that added theatre and delight. Many of the winners offered insights into their journey, their teams, and the purpose behind their work.

Our guest speaker, Ben Maguire AM, brought the room together with a stirring reflection on our theme, Making History, speaking to the legacy being shaped right here in our region.

🎉Last Saturday, we officially opened the Yarrah Sales Suite and released Stage 3, it was a wonderful family day including free face painting, ice cream and BBQ! It also provided an opportunity for those interested to look at available land, plans, H+L packages with our friendly sales team & walk through a completed house. PLUS it was a great opp to get a real taste of .
