Did you know that Bosnia and Herzegovina is full of ‘hidden gems’?
So is this one close to Musafir’s House. Within 20 minutes by car or personal favorite by quad you can withdraw and enjoy nature. The route is also great if you love long walks through hills and mountains where friendly locals will greet you on the way.

Musafir’s House from a Birdseye perspective. The first year since opening was exciting. Questions as: Will the guests feel home in Musafir’s House? Far from home but still home. The feedback from the guests was lovely! They felt at home and they fell in love with the neighbours and Bosnia and Hercegovina! As hosts we stay humble but also proud! Want to have the Musafir’s House experience? The house is free from 9 august.

Sometimes food can be a challenge for people. Specially for people who have gluten allergy.
Should this stop you from visiting Bosnia and Hercegovina? No it should not!

For one of our guests with gluten allergy we did some research and found these great spots where one can have great gluten free meals. Also we found a few shop’s where one can buy gluten free groceries.

Bistro Zdravo, No Gluten Factory, Marshall’s Gelato, Zara iz Duvara and Restoran Suljovic. The restaurants can be found in Sarajevo and have instagram accounts to check them out.

Where to find gluten free groceries? Also in Sarajevo. DM, Mercator and the big Bingo in city centre.

Did you know that Musafir’s House is situated under the mountains Igman and Bjelasnica?

During the summer great for trips with a quad but also for hiking!
In the winter specially Bjelasnica is mesmerising when covered by a blanket of snow. It’s fun for grown ups but also children!

After a long day you can take a ‘in your own’ house and prepare for the next adventure in BiH.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is full of hidden pearls … Sometimes found by accident and sometimes as a tip from locals. On the way to Tito’s bunker when you drive 15 minutes up the mountain you can find the watersource of Konjic. Beautiful nature!

And we are bit further with the dream! A swing to relax. A parking spot. Bedroom updated. The garden had a small makeover including a fence for more privacy.
