Let's fight famine together! Mask up and let's fight famine together! Those most vulnerable are the children.

This is a personal project and proceeds from the mask sales will go to sponsoring a child/children through Metro World Child's Kenya: Critical Campaign. The *Masked Hero* Project

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and locust infestation, the already devastating situation in Kenya has turned from urgent to *critical* . The shortage of food has caused many to suffer and d

ie of starvation. Metro World Child has been serving the children in Kenya for many years. They hope to sponsor 4000 children and provide a hot meal for them daily when they come to school. You may or may not be able to single-handedly sponsor a child at RM120 per month, but together we can do something. When you purchase these masks, you are going to join me in making a difference in the lives of these children. All proceeds from the project will be channelled to the child sponsorship effort through MWC's Kenya: Critical. You can find out more about the project through:

Here's a celebration post! 🎉🎉

Within a short 3 wks of launch... We've raised enough to sponsor not 1 but 2 kids from the Kenya Critical Campaign under Metro World Child!

Didn't think we would come this far when we started but we just have to start doing.

Thankful to everyone who has made this possible and who has supported this cause.

Thankful for all the orders streaming in... But today I'm thankful for this...

My 82yo mom saw me manually winding bobbins. She went back to my sister's place where her traditional step sewing machine is and wound bobbins in support of what I'm doing. She's also given her approval on my sewing and said well done!

Everyone can do something. My 82yo mom can wind bobbins, I can sew masks... You can support by ordering yours today.

So I started. No rocket science or fancy equipments. In fact this is an upgraded version of my small little sewing machine I began with. What started off as a challenge from someone who told me don't bother making fabric masks. Too much work. I thought to myself... How hard could it be and so I tried. Through trial and error, kept researching, reading on proper materials and what works etc to get the right template and beautiful, safe masks.

Then the idea came to start doing something more meaningful with these masks... Hence, Masked Heroes Project was birthed - a project to raise awareness of the famine going on in Kenya and to raise funds to sponsor a child/children thru these masks under Metro World Child's Kenya : Critical Campaign.
