আমল করার কিতাব ছিলো
দোয়ার কিতাব বানিয়ে ফেলেছো।
It was a Book to understand.
You read it without understanding.
এটা বোঝার কিতাব ছিলো
তুমি এটা পড়ার (না বুঝে) কিতাব বানিয়ে ফেলেছো।
It was a code for the living.
You turned it into a manifesto of the dead.
জীবিতদের (জীবন যাপনের) কিতাব ছিলো
মৃতদের (পরকালের) কিতাব বানিয়ে ফেলেছো।
That which was a book of knowledge.
You abdicated to the ignoramus.
এটা জ্ঞানের কিতাব ছিলো
মুর্খদের দখলে ছেড়ে দিয়েছো।
It came to give knowledge of Creation.
You abandoned it to the madrasa.
এটা সৃষ্টির জ্ঞান দিতে এসেছিলো
তুমি এটা মাদরাসায় পরিত্যাগ করেছো।
It came to give life to dead nations.
You used it for seeking mercy for the dead.
এটা মৃত জাতিকে জাগাতে এসেছিলো।
তুমি এটাকে মৃতের জন্য দোয়ার কাজে লাগিয়েছো।
O’ Muslims! What have you done?
হে মুসলমান, তুমি এটা কি করেছো?
