On the 1st of May we traditionally give lily of the valley also known as muguet or simply “porte-bonheur.” A delicate white flower that symbolizes spring, but above all luck and good health.
The origin of this tradition isn’t entirely clear, but in France it lives on strongly during the Fête du Muguet. And here too, you see it appear every year as a warm gesture between friends, family and loved ones.

For its debut at Milan Design Week, H&M Home has chosen none other than American hotshot interior designer Kelly Wearstler. Together, they are presenting a collection of furniture and accessories that will be available in stores and online later this fall.

A collection “that represents many firsts for us,” as Evelina Kravaev-Söderberg, H&M Home’s Head of Design & Creative, puts it, the partnership with Wearstler also marks the brand’s inaugural foray into furniture within a designer collaboration.

It also continues H&M’s tradition of teaming up with renowned designers to bring high-end design to a wider audience.

I had an interesting talk at Lunch w/a Architect with Henri Bava from TER at Flagey.

What stayed with me? Their vision starts not from buildings, but from the landscape.
Cities are designed as living ecosystems focused on soil,
greenery
and biodiversity.

Beyond aesthetics, it’s about cooling, CO₂ reduction, and resilience in urban environments.

Instead of hard surfaces and purely technical solutions, they bring back age-old principles: working with soil and water, allowing infiltration
and letting cities breathe again through green structures.

Large trees, vegetation, and smart water systems, both above and below ground, play a key role.
Ancient knowledge shaping the future.
