maison osaïn

maison osaïn Beauty is found in the people, places and objects that elevate our experience of the everyday. Maison Osaïn breathes new life into old houses.

Tired structures we acquire only to reinvent them with dedicated care, respectfully elevating their authentic character and vernacular with a contemporary sense of comfort and style. Skilfully renovated in collaboration with esteemed architects, artists, craftsmen and creators, these existing houses are made into new homes, and passed on to new owners. Every material, every detail, every element is meticulously considered and brought together to build a house, to create a home – a place to come back to. It is infused with a feeling of alignment and intimacy between those who occupy the house, and the community that surrounds them. It has become a locus for what we believe constitutes sincere living.

Made for the quiet rituals of everyday life.

Our private linen collection was created from a desire to bring the same sense of tactility, simplicity and care we seek in our homes into the objects we live with every day.

Crafted from pure, natural linen in soft, earthy tones — pieces designed to be used, lived with and become more beautiful over time.

A small selection from the collection is still available in limited quantities.

Architecture gives shape to the moments that make up a life.

The morning light entering a room.
A door left open to the garden.
The quiet touch of natural materials.
A table around which people gather.

At Maison Osaïn, we believe meaningful spaces are created not only to be seen, but to be lived — slowly, consciously and with care.
Because perhaps timelessness is not about lasting forever, but about creating places that allow us to be fully present in the now.

Every story has a beginning.

Ours started with House Linaza in the historic centre of Antwerp.
This unique home became the very first expression of the Maison Osaïn philosophy — a place where architecture, art, objects and craftsmanship came together in quiet harmony.

More than a renovation, it became the blueprint for everything that followed. The values that continue to shape every Maison Osaïn home today: sincerity, natural materials, timeless beauty and spaces that invite you to slow down.

Looking back, this project still feels like coming home. 🤍

We are honoured to be featured in the Knokke edition of with a story about the origins of Maison Osaïn, the values that guide our work, and the journey behind Villa Sous Tous Vent — our most ambitious project to date and one that holds a special place in our hearts.

It is also a story about resilience. About navigating personal and professional challenges, rethinking what truly matters, and finding the courage to build something deeply aligned with our values. Maison Osaïn was born from that moment of reflection and transformation.

Thank you, , for capturing our story, and thank you to for sharing it with your readers.

HOUSE SYLVAN — A new chapter unfolds. Where Art Finds Its Place.

Nestled among the meadows of Schilde, House Sylvan continues to evolve as a place where architecture, craftsmanship and nature exist in quiet harmony. Through a new series of images, we are proud to reveal the latest additions to the home: bespoke ceramic wall objects by .be and felted tapestries by .studio.

Both collaborations hold a special place within the Maison Osaïn story. After previously working together on House Morello, we are delighted to welcome their work into House Sylvan, where texture, materiality and artistry further enrich the atmosphere of the home.

Rooted in circular design and ecological consciousness, House Sylvan is a residence shaped by natural materials, soft clay finishes, warm oak textures and ever-changing views across the surrounding landscape. Every detail invites a slower rhythm, a deeper connection and a sense of belonging.

In close collaboration with:be – sculptural fine handmade ceramic objectsstudio – handcrafted felted tapestries

A heartfelt thank you to the artists and makers whose work adds depth, beauty and soul to this home.

A house with a history. A project that became a homecoming.

We are grateful to be featured in the latest issue of with Villa Sous Tous Vent — a place that embodies the values at the heart of Maison Osaïn.

Originally built in 1926, this historic villa invited us into a journey of restoration, patience and care. Together with a remarkable community of artisans, artists and collaborators, we sought not only to preserve its heritage, but to reveal its soul once again.

Thank you to for sharing our story, to .reich for her thoughtful words, and to for capturing the atmosphere of the home. A special thank you to for the portrait featured in the article.

We are equally grateful to our collaborators for the art curation and for the garden design, both of which helped shape the complete narrative of this project.

Delighted to be part of this beautiful edition. 🤍

At Maison Osaïn, we believe a home should be more than a collection of rooms.

It is a place where light softens the day, where nature is welcomed inside, where materials age with grace, and where stillness finds space to settle.
A place that nurtures connection, invites reflection, and supports the rituals of everyday life.

Because architecture, at its essence, is not about building houses.
It is about creating a place for life to unfold.

Villa Marron unfolds as a dialogue between texture, light, and proportion.

Soft travertine underfoot, tactile stone surfaces, and warm oak details create an atmosphere that feels both serene and deeply rooted. Generous glass openings blur the boundary between interior and garden, allowing natural light to shape the dining space throughout the day.

A contemporary retreat where architecture slows the pace of everyday living.

Some houses carry more than history. They carry presence.

Perched along the Belgian coastline, Villa Sous Tous Vent was originally designed in 1926 by architect Valentin Vaerwyck as a place of retreat for painter Albert Saverys — a home shaped by light, silence and artistic contemplation.

Nearly a century later, Maison Osaïn reimagines the villa through a careful restoration that honours its modernist soul while opening it towards contemporary living. Natural stone, mineral textures, warm woods and softened light create a restrained atmosphere where every detail invites calm.

The surrounding garden, conceived by Piet Oudolf, follows the rhythm of the seasons like a living landscape in constant transformation. Inside, curated artworks in collaboration with KALPA quietly inhabit the spaces, adding depth, emotion and resonance.

Villa Sous Tous Vent is not simply restored. It is gently brought back to life.
