I live here since autumn 2020 and enjoy it vezry much, because at last I live near nature. In cities I loved to live as well, first in my home-town Aalst, the Erembodegem, the 6 years in Schaerbeek (Brussels) + 7 years in Dilbeek. But really... Ternat is the best (till now -;) My bikes you can use,- when you visit or stay over.

Last year started to grow a kind of garden feeling, changing the old parking-lot into cosy green corners where you can sit in sunshine or shadow. Enjoy a drink or bbq, play pétanque or darts etcetera. Around the corner 200 hectares of natural reserve: 'Liedekerkebos'.

Here I live on the first floor: it's an ancient little farm dating from the 19th century. Upstairs there used to be two studio-appartments, but now it's 1 complete 'kangooroo' house. With 2 bathrooms & 2 bedrooms & 1 kitchen to be used in common with guests. Tried that out with some 12 friends & trekkers & couchsurfers during the past years, and I love that kind of co-housing.
