The Village of Kozlovets is a village in Northern Bulgaria, situated in the Municipality of Svishtov, District of Veliko Tarnovo. It is a well-maintained village, with a town hall, a community centre, a church, a petrol station, and several shops/pubs. There is regular bus transport to/from the village. It is located in the middle part of the Danubian Plain, about 11 miles south of the Town of Svishtov. The village is surrounded by hills, and the small local river Savova bara flows through it from south to north. The soil is very fertile. Cereal crops grow here, vines, fruits and vegetables are grown here.
The third-class republican road III-405 passes through Kozlovets, which connects it with the Village of Alekovo and through the Village of Tsarevets – with the Town of Svishtov, and within the boundaries of the village the road serves as its main street.
The population of the village is 1051 people, according to the latest census.
A place of interest in the village is the Orthodox Church of Saint Dimitar that was built back in 1854.
In the vicinity of the village in the area called Bashchalka, there is a burial mound from a late Roman settlement, and remains were found of a Thracian horseman, thalers from the Republic of Dubrovnik, etc.
