BAHRAIN UPDATES
UPDATE 1:
The third edition of Cityscape Bahrain 2024 has achieved unprecedented success, with real estate transactions exceeding BD341 million.Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) chairman Essam Khalaf revealed the details yesterday as he announced the exhibition’s conclusion, which was held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, inaugurated the 20th edition of the IISS Manama Dialogue security conference.HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted that under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the Kingdom is committed to supporting regional and international security, peace, and development.

Moody’s Investors Service expects GCC governments to continue diversifying their economies and investing in non-hydrocarbon sectors. This will benefit real estate, tourism, and construction, supporting asset quality for banks.

Bahrain ranks fifth in the Arab world and second in the GCC as the cheapest country in the price of gasoline until November 2024, while it ranked 11th globally, according to a report published by Global Petroleum Price.The report indicated that a litre of petrol in Bahrain costs about 531 US cents, equivalent to 200 fils
