Innovasjon Norge, ambassaden i Brasilia og generalkonsulatet i Rio de Janeiro har fått Inventure Management til å gjøre en undersøkelse av norske investeringer i Brasil. Rapporten overrekkes i dag til Utenriksdepartementets statssekretær Morten Høglund i Rio.

Interesting read on the Oil &Gas industry in Rio de Janeiro:

"Brazil has the potential of Norway to develop
before 2030 in terms of operations involving
oil exploration and production. For this reason,
investment in these activities is expected to reach
between US$600 billion and US$800 billion (made
by Petrobras and other operators), as well as for all
the other infrastructure necessary in the sector. All
this to raise productivity from 2 million to 6 million
barrels of oil equivalent (boe) per day. In the
view of Carlos Assis, lead partner at the Center of
Energy and Natural Resources at EY, the estimate
is that the state of Rio, where the Campos Basin is
located, which is the largest producing area in the
country, should receive approximately 80% of total
investment. Based solely on the study “Decisão
Rio”, carried out by Firjan, of the R$235.6 billion
that the state should receive between 2014 and
2016, R$143 billion, or 60.7% of the total, will be
invested in the oil and gas sector"

"Tidlig på morgenen løfter helikopteret seg fra flyplassen sør for Rio. En time senere kommer to plattformer og et produksjonsskip til syne ute i den dypblå Søratlanteren. Dette er Statoils Peregrino-felt, oppdaget i 2004 og satt i produksjon i 2011 – Statoils største egenopererte felt utenfor Norge".

Det er ikke sant at Statoil har strupet ­investeringene, ifølge Helge Lund. Selskapet har 15 mega­prosjekter på gang, mot ett for fire år siden.

Siden 2009 har han drevet Inventure Management, et firma som hjelper selskaper å etablere seg i Brasil. Landsjefer og finansdirektører leies ut til trengende selskaper.Hannisdal mener det er den mest effektive måten å gå inn i et nytt marked på, fremfor å bruke mange millioner kroner på å sende avgårde en utlending med familie på stort utenlandstillegg, en person som gjerne ikke kjenner Brasil, byråkrati og kultur. Inventure Management har 60 selskaper i 15 ulike land på
kundelisten, og 50 ansatte.

Hannisdal mener Brasil fortsatt gir store muligheter for dem som går riktig frem.

– Mange har opplevelsen av at «før var det boom, nå går det nedover». Jeg deler ikke den oppfatningen. Alt var ikke så bra da det var boom, og alt er ikke så dårlig nå, sier Hannisdal."

Korrupsjon, tollkaos, sære myndighetskrav, manglende betalinger og produksjonsfall. Oljeboomen i Brasil har kostet. Mange nordmenn har fått svi.
