Our members were shocked to awaken to the terrible news of the murder of a former member of our association.

We wish to take this moment to convey our condolences to his loved ones.

Congratulations to our Board who worked to make this historic event possible. The Association of Real Estate Brokers of Belize is proud of our Team who worked many years behind the scenes to make this day possible. to our President Hugo Moguel, Directors Frik De Meyere and Fidel Dean Hill who ushered in this MOU signing.

On December 7, 2022, Belize's two real estate associations, BNAR Belize National Association of Real Estate and Association of Real Estate Brokers of Belize - AREBB signed an MOU to merge and become BREA - the Belize Real Estate Association. This marks the beginning of a new era for the Belize real estate industry; one that signifies an evolution of the industry into having a united voice. The Memorandum of Understanding lays the groundwork for us coming together as one and forming one unified body.

The merger will lead to licensing, regulations, and training to ensure best practices for all in the industry.

We look forward to the beginning of a new future for the Belize real estate industry.
