Happy Holidays from our family to yours!

This year, our family embarked on a meaningful endeavor, redirecting our traditional adult and children gift exchanges towards a more charitable cause. In memory of our beloved aunt, Jas Nijjar, who departed from us this year, we chose to donate presents and essential food items to the less fortunate. Our aunt was the one who started our family get togethers and brought warmth and cheerfulness to our family. Her absense was greatly evident at our annual family dinner. We thought providing food, toys, happiness and warmth to others is the perfect embodiment of what our aunt brought to our family.

This donation not only honoured her legacy but also instilled invaluable lessons within our family. The experience was especially enlightening for Samar. As she selected toys to donate, I explained the significance of our actions: gifting joy to children who might otherwise go without any presents this festive season. Witnessing her radiant smile and enthusiasm to contribute reinforced the profound impact of our decision.

Our aspiration is to uphold this tradition annually, ensuring that the spirit of giving remains central to our celebrations, perpetuating the remarkable legacy of our dear aunt. Thank you to all our friends and family who donated 🙏🏽

May this season be filled with compassion, gratitude, and the joy of giving for all. Happy holidays and have a great new year.
