My passion for real estate and home design was sparked from a young age, growing up in the countryside of rural Adjala-Tosorontio. My father built the first two homes we lived in and ran his own business building custom hom
es and doing renovations. I can still remember as a kid my dad teaching me the basics of building with wood which I really enjoyed, using those skills to build tree forts with my friends. I was deeply involved in his businesses from early on, which from home building evolved into real estate investments and property management, then to a salesperson selling homes and eventually my father owned a real estate brokerage with two local offices and 20 sales representatives. To compliment that on-the-ground learning from assisting my father, I furthered my education by studying Housing and Real Estate Management at the University of Guelph, earning a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2005. At the time, the program at Guelph was very small and one of only two like it in the country. I felt it was a perfect fit for me to study business at that level and also focus on one of my greatest interests. To this day I am involved with the program activities and regularly see my old peers and friends. I proudly became a licensed Realtor in 2002 and have been practicing full time with Century 21 Heritage Group since 2010. I learned growing up the value of community, and when I graduated, I knew I wanted to return home to practice real estate so I could give back to the community that helped raise me. The regions I now serve are the same areas I’ve lived, gone to school in and played sports in growing up--New Tecumseth, Adjala-Tosorontio, Mono, Mulmur and Essa. So when you work with me, you have someone on your side who is an expert on this area. I now run my business with a By-Referral philosophy, where I am my clients Realtor for life providing exceptional, professional service before, during and after the sale bundled with top quality marketing. Because they are more than just my clients--they are my neighbours, community members, and friends. I currently live in Alliston on the Boyne River with my two young daughters, where I have been renovating and rebuilding my mid-century bungalow. Construction, renovation, design and building science continue to be my biggest hobbies. I love the challenge of designing, creating, building and working with my hands. I am also passionate about how to create energy efficient housing so we can live more comfortably and lightly on the earth. The creating and building skills are also lessons I pass on to my daughters so they can have an understanding of the spaces we make home.
