Country & Rural Living is a wonderful lifestyle.
👉Key word...*Lifestyle*.
It offers space, peace and quiet, privacy. But it also demands constant learning and adapting, struggles and wins, easy breezy days and days of questioning one's life choices!
I live it, respect it and love it. I’m often asked to share what I’ve learned along the way (I sometimes wonder if I'm becoming the next generation old timer!! 😂..but I guess it could be worse!) . So here it goes…Tips and Tricks of Living in the Country (with my usual disclaimer of my opinion only 😊)

There tends to be a slower pace of life in rural and country living. Never stopping..but slowing down.. There is reason in doing so.
The list of chores and must do's will be never ending and grow. That’s simply a fact. Seasons tend to play more of a role. Getting the seeds in for the growing season, harvesting and preserving, stacking firewood before cold sets in, bringing in hay, repairing fencing, cutting acreage of grass, plowing the driveway….the list goes on! 👉The key is to enjoy what those chores accomplish and offer in return of the work. To do that, one must learn to slow down to appreciate.
Drive a little slower, take in countryside views, appreciate a proper porch sitting, chit chat about nothing in particular with a neighbour, watch a sunset. Perhaps grow a garden, raise a couple chickens, take interest in the weather - learn to find what you enjoy and take the time to appreciate it🧡. Slow down.
