What did you do on the long weekend?

I spent it camping at Wellesley Island State Park with friends and we took a short drive to the end of the island to tour some stunning buildings and see some St. Lawrence River history.

Here’s just a couple of shots from touring Boldt Castle Yacht house on Wellesley Island NY. You can drive to the Yacht house and there is a ferry to the castle and back.

It’s a heart breaking story about a man and the love of his life and the beautiful place he started to build on Heart Island.

It’s been at least 10 years since my last visit to the castle and my first through the Yacht house.

Absolutely amazing! Worth doing even if you’ve been before.

Ahhh the May 24 weekend. The "Official" start of summer and camping season!

And, its raining.🌧️🌧️ Of course. And the forecast is rain , rain and more rain 👎🏻.

That's ok. We've done this before and made it out alive and dry! 😜

Ronni however was not having any more or the waiting to go and was giving John the "are you ready yet" stare! Lol

Hoping for some down time this weekend, but it's not looking like that's going to be in the cards. But I brought my office in a bag so I'm set for anything that gets thrown at me! 💻🖥️⌨️

Trying to get some work done over the past few days and my cat Looni comes into the office to "help" me 😹

There is a perfectly good cat bed on my desk, but apparently she prefers to be on top of the action!

So if I send you something with typos, it's probably Looni stepping on the keyboard! 🤣

OMG! This is the BEST GF bread ever!

She's done it! Found the perfect recipe for homemade GF bread!

It's a normal size and texture and taste!
I'm going to freeze some and keep some out to see how it is after a day as GF bread doesn't usually handle being out very well and sometimes after it's frozen the texture isn't the same.

But, so far this looks, feels and tastes like a loaf of multi grain bread!

If you are looking for me, I'll be hiding away with this loaf of bread and the butter dish! 🤣🍞🧈

Such a beautiful show and symphony from Mother Nature tonight.

A few minutes later and I would have missed it.

No one is perfect, and we all miss things sometimes.

There are many moving parts and long documents in a real estate transaction.

Weekends are only going to get busier from now on!

This weekend was a great one!

It started off Saturday morning with a trip to Lombardy for the annual CHEO breakfast fundraiser. What great day it was! People, pancakes, syrup, bake sale and a silent auction with all proceeds going to CHEO.

Then it was home to pack up and head to a 50th birthday party for the night!

But not without first having to work on 2 separate deals once I got there. So out comes the handy dandy office in a bag! 😜

The set up in the trailer looked great, unfortunately the wifi wasn't, so I ended up packing it all up and taking up space in the dining room at the hosts house for a while.

But, the deals got done and the party went on!

Let's see what adventures the rest of the summer holds for my office in a bag! 😜
